Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares respiratory residents for meals, including passing out food trays and assisting with feeding.
• Participate and cooperate with all aspects of facility needs and initiatives.
• Understands philosophy of care, resident rights, patient dignity and HIPAA/ confidentiality.
• Responsible for patient and equipment set up / clean up.
• Participation in department and facility meetings as requested including ability to communicate relevant information with facility staff.
• Prepare rooms for new admissions for patients of the Respiratory Therapy team.
• Immediately report any unsafe, malfunctioning or questionable equipment in use by the department.
• Other duties as prescribed.

Specific Requirements

**RT student or Respiratory related field of study

• Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
• Follows written and oral instructions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
