Respiratory Therapy Director directs the programs and staff of the respiratory therapy department. Oversees the provision of diagnostic, treatment, and educational services for patients with respiratory disorders. Being a Respiratory Therapy Director develops and implements respiratory care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Additionally, Respiratory Therapy Director manages departmental budgets and reports, and maintains department records and statistics. We limit our practice to Occupational Medicine and Employee Health Services, making it the complete focus of our attention. We emphasize quality medical care and try to provide the highest level of service to our patients and their employers.

Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Maintains a cordial, accommodating, and welcoming presence with patients at all times.
2. Conducting Pre-Placement, Post-Offer, Return to Work and Fitness for Duty examinations
3. Diagnosing and providing treatment for injuries that occur in the workplace, i.e., musculoskeletal disorders and injuries such as sprains, strains, lacerations, eye injuries and contusions
4. OSHA mandated surveillance exams
5. Injections
6. Suturing
7. Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals
8. Provides educational materials and follow-up visit instructions to patients as indicated.
9. Works in collaboration with a designated Physician.
10. Communicates with employers regarding findings specific to causality and appropriate treatment plan
11. Company site visits to tour employer facility as needed or requested
12. Performs other duties as indicated or assigned by the Physician or the Practice Administrator
