Elevate Care is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our residents. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Respiratory Therapy for our nursing  facility.

As the Director of Respiratory Therapy you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all respiratory therapy services within our nursing home. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of respiratory care practices, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement respiratory therapy programs and protocols to meet the specific needs of our residents.
• Manage and lead a team of respiratory therapists, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the nursing and medical staff to provide comprehensive respiratory care for residents with diverse needs.
• Conduct assessments of residents' respiratory status and develop individualized care plans.
• Stay informed about advancements in respiratory therapy and ensure the team is trained on the latest techniques and technologies.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory therapy interventions and make recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of respiratory therapy services provided.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Illinois  licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care principles, procedures, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of respiratory therapists.
