Restaurant Cashier - Casino jobs in Salisbury, NC

We are looking for a Casino Cashier to join our store team!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to each guest in a courteous and efficient manner while always displaying a pleasant enthusiastic attitude
• Embody a professional demeanor and a high level of character, honesty and integrity in conducting the business affairs of the restaurant; Inspire all team members to do the same
• Cash all types of checks for guests within the specified guidelines; Record all checks cashed in the specified computer system
• Conduct both Marker and Front Money transactions on guest accounts
• Redeem chips/tokens, TITO (ticket in ticket out) and Race and Sports tickets for guests
• Redeem all acceptable types of foreign currencies
• Receive and maintains proper cash accountability in cash drawer for shift; Check out the drawer and prepare the shift report properly; Balance bank at end of shift
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED)
• Acceptable previous experience as a Casino Cashier
• Excellent customer service and communication (both written and verbal) skills
• Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
• Working knowledge of 10-key machine and computer equipment
• Accurate money handling skills
• Must be able to obtain a Gaming Registration Card
• Meet the requirements for the needed physical tasks with or without accommodation
