Responsibilities:- Create and maintain staff operation schedules
- Hire, train, and supervise food and beverage staff to ensure their performance adheres to a high standard
- Ensure the smooth and successful operation of the hotel’s food and beverage department including menu development, staff oversight, customer service, budget, and schedule
- Monitor and maintain product, supplies, and labor costs
- Report on guest satisfaction scores and make suggestions
- Must have extensive wine and spirit knowledge
- Supervise all aspects of bar operations including hiring and scheduling bar staff
- Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure adequate inventory and pricing of wine and spirits
- Develop and maintain a cocktail program and wine list
- Lead and train staff on wine and spirits education and service
- Encourages and builds relationships with guests and ensures that they are delivered an excellent service experience
- Understanding of national food and health safety regulations
- Food handling license
- At least 3 years in a supervisory role in the food and beverage department
- Hospitality customer relationship management experience a plus
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of Scottsdale wine and beverage market and trends, is a BIG PLUS!
