Job Title: Assistant Manager

We are seeking an assistant manager for our lively waterfront restaurant and bar, with the potential to expand into a second adjacent storefront. We offer California Asian cuisine complete with fresh sushi and sashimi as well as cooked hot and cold dishes. Our two-story restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating with ocean views as well as two cocktail bars. We are interested in someone who is energetic, responsible, hardworking, and detail-oriented to join our team.

Our staff is like a family and we are looking for someone who will come in ready to embrace our unique style and grow with the restaurant. The assistant manager, with the rest of the management team, is responsible for overseeing a staff of 25-40, creating and maintaining an enjoyable guest experience and ambiance, and making sure daily operations run smoothly.

Qualifications:
Previous experience managing in food/hospitality
Familiar with POS systems, Excel, OpenTable or willing to learn
Familiar with wine and sake or willing to learn
Previous experience serving or bartending is ideal
Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays
Food handler manager certification is desirable but not required

Must be willing to frequently move between first and second stories
Spanish language ability is desirable but not required

**Compensation: We are required to put a salary range for Indeed, but the compensation is negotiable and dependent on experience.**
