The Casino Accounting Supervisor manages daily accounting and reporting of all gaming and non-gaming revenue. This position manages all general accounting functions including accounts payable, payroll, and period-end close processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure consistent high-quality service to all our team members and guests.
- Provide hands-on leadership to Revenue Accounting department.
- Prepare and post revenue journal entries for all revenues and comp and coupon expenses.
- Assist with reconciliation of general ledger.
- Prepare weekly gaming tax returns.
- Maintain tracking records for all revenue.
- Review all departmental activity with Controller and Director of Finance.
- Timely communicate all Revenue Accounting issues.
- Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and employee and guest information.
- Prepare and deliver reports as needed.
- Track and complete all government reporting.
- Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
- Follow lawful directions from supervisors.
- Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
- Interact well with others and be a positive influence on team member morale.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proficiency in supervisory skills for managing the revenue accounting department.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule.
- Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels in the Company and in external organizations.
- All team members must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- An Associate’s degree in a finance- or accounting-related field, at least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Gaming experience is preferred.
- Must possess excellent guest service skills to effectively deal with guests.
