As a Restaurant Assistant Manager, the position will be included in establishing policies and procedures related to food service within our dining outlets.

Key Responsibilities include :

Staff Management and Training :

• Ensure incoming staff complies with company policies and maintain a positive company culture.
• Train new and existing staff to follow restaurant procedures and uphold standards.

Safety and Quality Assurance :

• Maintain safety and food quality standards to ensure the health and satisfaction of customers.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.

Operations Management :

• Organize schedules and keep track of employees' hours to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Supervise daily shift operations, including front- and back-of-house activities.

Inventory and Budget Management :

• Order food, linens, gloves, and other supplies while staying within budget limitations.
• Control operational costs and identify ways to minimize waste to maximize profitability.

Financial Oversight :

• Ensure all end-of-day cash outs are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.

Customer Interaction and Feedback :

Interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Recruitment and Interviewing :

Interview and recruit new employees to maintain adequate staffing levels and support business growth.

What you will bring :

• 1- year proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role.
• Proven customer service experience as a manager.
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and waitstaff.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software.
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
• Obtain and maintain current SERV Safe Food Manager’s Certification.
• Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions : food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
• Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
