The DoubleTree by Hilton is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to join our fantastic Food and Beverage Team. This position will assist the Food and Beverage Director with the successful operation of our restaurant. We are looking for someone who has a passion for taking care of both our guests and our team members.

Job Description:

• Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and discipline restaurant staff for the efficient operation of the outlet.
• Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings.
• Evaluates cost effectiveness of all aspects of the business.
• Moves throughout facility to visually monitor and take corrective action to ensure food qualification standards are met.
• Provide guidance for improvements and implements adjustments for consistency.
• Interact with customers promoting hotel facilities and services.
• Develop and conduct marketing strategies to increase revenue.
• Resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties.
• Control payroll, watching labor costs.

Job Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of restaurant including foods, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction.
• Qualified candidates must have at least one year of previous Food & Beverage and supervisory experience.
• Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• Ability to effectively deal with employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
• Outstanding leadership skills and a team player.
• Licenses or Certificates: Alcohol Awareness and ServSafe Certified.
