Resteel Ironworker installs reinforcing steel bars, cables, or wire in order to support concrete structures. May cut, bend, and/or weld steel construction materials. Being a Resteel Ironworker ensures proper placement and alignment according to blueprints and instructions. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Resteel Ironworker may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Resteel Ironworker may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of tools and equipment used in construction but ironwork specifically

    Duties:

    - Assemble and install steel beams, columns, and other construction materials

    - Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of the structure

    - Use hand and power tools such as welding equipment, grinders, and torches

    - Operate machinery including cranes to lift and position heavy materials

    - Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques

    - Inspect and ensure the structural integrity of all connections

    - Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes and standards

    Requirements:

    - Previous experience in ironworking or a related field

    - Proficiency with tools such as grinders, torches, impacts, plumb bob, and rigging tools

    - Ability to weld using various techniques including stick welding

    - Knowledge of construction codes and standards

    - Physical strength and stamina to work with heavy materials and in various weather conditions

    -osha 10 or 40 certification
