Resteel Ironworker installs reinforcing steel bars, cables, or wire in order to support concrete structures. May cut, bend, and/or weld steel construction materials. Being a Resteel Ironworker ensures proper placement and alignment according to blueprints and instructions. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Resteel Ironworker may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Resteel Ironworker may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. – Must be reliable and have transportation.
– Ability to operate heavy equipment such as fork lifts, boom lifts etc
– Ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in both a team environment and individually
– M – F work schedule. Weekend work, out of town and off shift work is requested on occasion with OT.
– Prevailing Wage OpportunitiesAddition to the above Foreman applicants must have:
– Valid drivers license with clean driving record
– Can pass a background check
– Ability to read Blue Prints
– Excellent Communication Skills
– Excellent Leadership
– Ability to work and communicate with all trades
