Resteel Ironworker installs reinforcing steel bars, cables, or wire in order to support concrete structures. May cut, bend, and/or weld steel construction materials. Being a Resteel Ironworker ensures proper placement and alignment according to blueprints and instructions. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Resteel Ironworker may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Resteel Ironworker may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
As an Ironworker Journeyman, your primary duties include marking, positioning, and securing structural steel members to reinforce concrete or building structures.
The base compensation range for this role is $46.20-46.20 per hour.
