    Description

    The Retail Branch Manager II is responsible for leading a team to meet the financial needs of customers while providing exceptional customer service. This role will be involved within the community, drive business development, and oversee the operational soundness of the banking center.

    PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Manages all operations for the branch.
    2. Processes customer requests and transactions in an accurate and professional manner.
    3. Assists with managing branch consumer loan portfolio, and coaches branch staff to sell and handle consumer loan requests in an effective manner.
    4. Responsible for growing existing small business banking relationships and developing new relationships within the market through client-facing activity.
    5. Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by retaining and developing highly-engaged associates.
    6. Ensures all departmental activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
    7. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications


    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
    • 3 years’ experience in banking, or related, industry, required.
    • 3-4 years’ experience in personnel management role, preferred.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or government regulations.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
    • Strong working knowledge of fraud and anti-money laundering regulations.
    • Independent critical reasoning.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
