Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and management of residential properties
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and disputes in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct property tours and show available units to prospective tenants
- Process rental applications, perform background checks, and approve new tenants
- Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, including inspections and lease signings
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including Fair Housing regulations
- Maintain accurate records of rental payments, expenses, and maintenance requests
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and maximize occupancy rates
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address property maintenance issues promptly
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to property standards
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of LIHTC
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Regulations
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for tenants
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
