Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Real Estate Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our properties. The Real Estate Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our real estate portfolio, including residential and commercial properties. This is a full-time position.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Develop and implement property management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for property repairs and maintenance
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of property expenses, income, and lease agreements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and maintenance schedules
- Perform data entry tasks related to property management activities
- Foster positive customer relationships through excellent customer service
Experience:
- Proven experience in property management or real estate management
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices and procedures
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for facilities management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, contractors, and vendors
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple properties simultaneously
