Property Accountant

Summary of Position

Residential Real Estate Bookkeeping/Accounting experience preferred. Yardi & Quickbooks

We are a fast-paced Real Estate Development and Property Management firm seeking a Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and enthusiastic and able to work independently. In addition, this individual must be able to handle a variety of tasks, follow instruction and do some administrative duties.

Job Requirements include:

Advanced Quickbooks Enterprise experience, MS Excel, Outlook, and Paychex programs. Yardi

Ability in Excel to create spreadsheets with basic formulas, AIA construction billing a plus.

Ability in Quickbooks to handle all tasks of general bookkeeping for multiple companies/properties including: entering invoices, generating reports, filing, doing bank reconciliations, advanced journal entries and understanding of chart of accounts, all aspects of A/P and A/R.

Excellent communication, administrative, and organizational skills with attention to detail a must.

Experience in Development, Construction, or Real Estate Management preferred

Required experience:

Bookkeeping: 5 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

• Real Estate Bookkeeping: 3 years (Preferred)
