Job Summary:
The Materials Management Receiving Clerk is responsible for assuring that supplies, equipment, and all materials are properly received and distributed daily.Hours:
- 1.0 FTE - 40 Hours Per Week
- Monday through Friday - Day Time Hours
Job Responsibilities:
- Check in supplies/equipment as delivered and distribute to appropriate areas
- Assist with completion of appropriate documents for processing and filing
- Walk back hall shelves and restock as needed
- Communicate with MM teammates as items need to be ordered
- Pull restock supplies per department inventory sheets
- Assist in inventory count
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge & Ability:
- Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
- Ability to relate and work effectively with others
- Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
- Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own professional advancement
- Previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred
- Is aware of professional standards and performs in accordance with them
