Psomas in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Scanning Clerk to support our organization. This temporary part-time position expected to last no longer than 3 months, will perform document scanning into a digitized filing system. Responsibility Highlights for our Scanning Clerk

• Proficiency using document scanning equipment (scanner) to reproduce hard copy documents into electronic files
• Review project hard files and prepares documents for electronic scanning
• Disassembles/unbinds documents as required, taking care to ensure that original documents are scanned exactly in their original state
• Performs scanning of paper documents and verifies that scanned documents are clear and legible
• After scanning, discards documents in accordance with recycling/shredding instructions provided
• Secures and protects the privacy of documents
• Perform other tasks or projects as required

Minimum Qualifications to be our Scanning Clerk

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with computers, software, printers/scanning equipment and saving documents
• Literate using a Microsoft Windows PC and Microsoft 365/Office software
• Ability to work in a time efficient manner with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to read and follow instructions is very important
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision and take the initiative to ask questions when necessary to complete the task correctly
• Physical activity required including bending, reaching, lifting and prolonged periods standing
