Event Coordinator Hybrid/ position

Skill requirements

• Computer skills and comfortability using google sheets, Canva, Facebook, Instagram, Constant Contact CRM, and google my business.
• We will train you on the software we choose for our event planning calendar.

Job Description

• You will be responsible for curating events and marketing our event space to potential renters locally and nationally.
• This can be done on your own time and from anywhere, but we will have a co-working office space available too.
• You will be required to take each new renter through an orientation of the event space and assure all necessary documentation is on file, as well as collect a security deposit.
• If an event with a new renter ends after 630pm, you may be asked to be there to assure they close up properly and the building is secure. We will only have staff until 7pm.
• The goal is to build a calendar of repeat renters and weekly, bi-weekly, monthly events.

About us:

Solely Therapeutic Massage opened in 2012 and we are expanding into a 3400 square ft wellness center on May 1st, 2024 and adding a recovery room to offer more accessible care, plus this event space to host events like group yoga, meditation, sound baths, networking, community workshops, photoshoots, private events, continuing education and live music.

All of our massage therapists have received advanced training in medical massage and/or other specialties and have 10 years of experience. We offer therapeutic and integrative bodywork, specialty services and support our therapists’ success with partial reimbursement for CEUs after 6 months, training materials, and opportunity to train one on one. All supplies are provided so therapists can focus Solely on the clients. We will help track their growth, retention, and offer complementary coaching in any areas needed.

Compensation

• This position is commission based on hourly room rental revenue brought in by you, and can be either a W2 or a sub-contractor position based on your needs.
• The employee/W2 position will be at 20-30% of rental revenues.

There will also be TWO other options available for renters which can earn you more commission. We can discuss in person.

Solely use of the event space

Solely reserves the right to schedule events with our practitioners including classes held by our therapists, marketing/networking events or non-profit or donation based events. We will give as much notice as possible on the calendar.
