The Project Director is a key contributor to the overall success of our project teams. Based in our main office in Clayton, MO, and specifically dedicated to the support of those in the field, the Project Director is directly engaged with the proactive analysis and key metrics to provide guidance to improve the overall success of each build. You are the primary point of contact between field and office. By working with ownership and being a support to the field, you can ensure thoughtful, effective, and effective decision-making. This is a NEW growth position purposefully created for you.

What you'll be doing:

• Ensure project teams understand project cost book and achieve maximum profitability within project
• Ensure project teams resolve outstanding financial issues
• Assess project risks and opportunities and work with project team to mitigate & maximize
• Ensure project teams develop and achieve baseline schedule
• Utilize and support use of technology within operations
• Expand the scope, capability, and capacity of the team
• Coach and develop talent within the organization
• Create atmosphere of feedback, goal setting, camaraderie, and growth
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships
• Assist with pre-construction activities as needed
• Ensure project teams follow Midas quality and safety procedures

What we're looking for:

• 10 years of experience managing large commercial projects with a general contractor
• Hospitality and multifamily project experience, preferred
• Engineering, architecture, or construction-related bachelor's degree
• Strong leadership and management skills in directing an organization, department, or group
• Keen knowledge in estimating, scheduling, quality control, design review and coordination, proposal preparation, and safety
• Procore experience preferred
• Positive reputation and relationship with regional St. Louis construction industry
• Strong business acumen including understanding of construction project cost, schedule, and forecasting
• Focused on superior customer service with high attention to detail
• Highly proficient with project management and accounting software
• Exceptional work ethic and desire to complete tasks on schedule with excellence
• Unique ability to connect with individuals at all levels believing each individual makes a critical difference
