LifeSource is hiring a full-time Retail Software Support Technician to join our dynamic team! We are an independently owned Natural Foods Store that has been nourishing the community since 1994!

The Retail Software Support Technician is responsible for our Point of Sales System and ensuring that it is running smoothly. They will manage database accuracy and ensure standard operating procedures are being followed. If you have a love for independent learning, problem-solving, database management, and spreadsheets, we want to hear from you! We are ready to train the right candidate!

Qualifications:

• Good working understanding of common computer systems and software.
• Candidates should have a good familiarity with Windows 10, Mac OS, and Microsoft Office Products.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with computer databases, point of sale systems, and inventory maintenance.
• Experience working with databases and/or data management systems.

Responsibilities:

Be knowledgeable and current on ECRS functionality.

• Ensure cash registers are highly functioning and intuitive in their operations and organization.
• Database accuracy.
• Support Virtual Inventory practices
• Reporting
• Screen layout, Menus, and Buttons
• Equipment oversight
• Accessibility. Ensure permissions are maintained and revised to match each person's job role and the needs inherent to them.
• Webcart
• Work with our outside IT provider to ensure that all computer-related activities are optimized and operating as expected.
• Support smooth functioning of store hardware.
• Promotions Planning.
