The Retail Store Manager is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store including leading and motivating the store team to meet sales and profitability goals, ensuring that service delivery expectations are consistently met, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that the store is compliant with all regulations.
Responsibilities & Duties Lead the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, including effective staffing and scheduling, staff compliance with non-negotiable sales standards and inventory management.
Ensure that the store is compliant with all regulations.
Develop and motivate the store team to meet and exceed retail sales and profitability goals while providing excellent customer service.
Communicate sales performance to store teams daily and identify sales goals for employees.
Implement visual standards and marketing initiatives at the store level.
Build relationships with retail partners, vendors, and suppliers.
Represent the store at industry events and trade shows.
Behaves in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork.
Follows safety guidelines and regulations, champions safety culture.
Qualifications & Skills Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required / bachelors degree in business management or hospitality preferred.
Previous retail, hospitality, and / or customer service experience required.
At least 5 years of leadership experience required, preferably in a high-volume retail environment.
Proficient computer skills required; POS software and cash management experience required.
Fluency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel; knowledge of pivot tables and basic formulas required.
Basic math skills including adding and subtraction required.
Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude required.
Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
