    Job Title: Customer Service Representative /Manager

    Location: 501 S College St Charlotte NC

    SUMMARY: To ensure a customer intimate experience with each customer by providing efficient and effective service to meet and exceed expectation of The UPS Store.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

    - Smile. Greet customers and determine how to exceed their expectations.
    - Meet with clients and accommodate design needs to their request or ideas.
    - Ability to brainstorm and create design ideas for customers.
    - Demonstrate attention to detail and time management skills
    - Operate copiers, fax machines, binding equipment and al other office machines, in a safe, efficient and productive manner. Help customers operate copiers and computers.
    - Receive, sort and place mail in mailbox modules accurately
    - Record all sales transactions on Point of Sale System (POS) and accurately process cash, check, money order and credit card transactions.
    - Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products.
    - Operate iShip and all other software for shipping.
    - Receive and process packages for courier shipping, including lifting and weighting packages on scale, accessing iShip software, generating labels and retrieving from customers vehicle when requested.
    - Write documents for traces and shipping claims.
    - Witness documents for customers where applicable.
    - Become a notary and notarize customer documents when appropriate and according to the requirements as specified for the State of North Carolina
    - Assist in merchandising the center, including: stocking shelves with product, ensuring a clean and orderly appearance of product; informing appropriate personnel of inventory levels for re- ordering supplies; being informed of product specifics (i.e., warranties, durability claims, pricing, etc.)
    - Close out register to include: reconciliation of cash, checks, money orders, credit cards and all other transactions accurately and in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
    - General housekeeping duties

    Education and/or Experience:

    - 1-2 years of experience or two-year degree in graphic design or related field.
    - Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

    Language Skills:

    Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain harmonious relationships with customers and co-workers, in person and over the phone.

    Other Skills and Abilities:

    - Ability to lift 50lbs. Regularly
    - Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
    - Must be able to multi task and be a self-starter
    - Manual hand dexterity required to operate cash register, clean paper jams from copiers and fills out customer paper work.
    - Passionate, high energy and outgoing personality
    - Ability to problem solve and think critically through challenging scenarios

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

    Shift:

    • 8 hour shift

    Weekly day range:

    • Monday to Friday
    • Weekends as needed

    Ability to Relocate:

    • Charlotte, NC 28202: Relocate before starting work (Required)
