    • Hire and Develop Talent : Has some experience hiring, training, and evaluating personnel in a retail sales environment.
    • People Development : Able to provide performance guidance and coaching to associates. Works with the Store Manager to offer opportunities for growth and development.
    • Store Presentation : Able to implement in-store presentation directives, following company policies and timelines. Has experience successfully leading store set-up activities and maintaining them throughout day to day operations.
    • Store Operations : Able to support the operations and activities of the store to ensure compliance with company policies. Cooperates with the Store Manager, managing and developing the team to ensure optimal coverage and performance of the operation. Leads by example and actively engages the team to find the most efficient and effective way to solve problems.
    • Store Housekeeping : Able to manage the day to day operations of the store including opening, closing, and general housekeeping. Creates an environment in which the team assumes collective ownership. Follows up to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
    • Product Knowledge : Able to maintain and demonstrate product knowledge and fashion awareness in day to day interactions with customers and team members.
    • Merchandising Knowledge : Has an understanding of retail merchandising principles and has successfully used industry practices for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
    • Communication : Able to effectively support and communicate company directives and expectations to team members. Written communications are clear and concise; presentations and verbal directives are relevant and to the point; critiques are direct, positively framed and promote improvement in the team.

    • Documentation : Has been responsible for completing documentation typically required in management of a retail operation. Able to accurately complete all necessary paper work and execute banking procedures in a timely manner.
    • Inventory Management : Ensures the store is business ready and manages inventory by processing shipments, markdowns, store recovery, stock replenishment and back room organization.

    Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum one year retail management experience Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills Basic computer skills Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills Understands the importance of Customer Service Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem solve Ability to stand during scheduled shifts Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers Ability to operate POS system
