We are looking for qualified Retail Sales Associates to join our Fit2Run Family in our downtown Sarasota, Florida store.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences and stay informed through company provided training about product features, benefits, and promotions.
• Ensure all footwear customers are measured, scanned, fit, and gait analyzed according to Fit2Run procedures, and following the sales process.
• Responsible for answering customer inquiries promptly in person and over the phone by providing top of the line customer service.
• Greet all customers upon entering the store and assist them with their needs.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
• Assist customers with prescription recommendations received from their podiatrist.
• If necessary, help customers with other department purchases, or lead them to employees in other departments.
• Always try to sell corresponding accessories with purchases, e.g.- socks and insoles with footwear. Also refer customers to all other areas of the store to maximize sales.
• Promote Fit2Run membership to all customers and provide them with the benefits of being a member.
• Assists cleaning and organizing of inventory in backroom, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts.
• Assists by keeping all footwear styles, insoles, and socks displayed in an organized manner and in the correct categories.
• Helps to maintain store cleanliness through general housekeeping by keeping floors swept and mopped, the footwear wall waxed, and shoe shelves dusted.
• Assists with keeping entire store clean, organized, and follows the stores merchandising recommendations.
• Follow all Fit2Run policies and procedures.
• May be responsible for completing Opening/Closing checklists and report any discrepancies to the store leadership.
• Assist with Fit2Run fun run events and other activities in the store.
• Responsible for completing required vendor training to learn about the products sold by Fit2Run.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous retail sales experience preferred.
• Passion for helping customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to engage with diverse customer demographics.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to take direction well to complete tasks and assignments.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
• Able to work collaboratively as a part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
