Monitors store modifications and changes to ensure budget adherence. Being a Retail Store Planning and Construction Director directs plans for equipment installation in order to meet store requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Retail Store Planning and Construction Director typically reports to a top management. The Retail Store Planning and Construction Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Retail Store Planning and Construction Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     You will be working in a fast-paced environment. It will be your job to make sure we promote sales growth through merchandise execution and ensuring your team is well-trained to deliver world-class service.

    To get started, we ask a few questions.

    • Can you work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays?
    • Do you have 2 or more years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management experience?
    • Do you have 2 or more years experience supervising and training 5-10 employees?
    • Are you considered to be at an intermediate level with computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel?

    Typical Physical Demands

    • Regularly required to talk and hear
    • Requires standing and walking, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
    • Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

    Work Environment

    While performing these duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

    The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
