Millvale Borough is accepting applications for the position of Zoning and Planning Director. The successful applicant must have knowledge of land use planning, best zoning practices, sign ordinances, code enforcement, property maintenance, and related ordinances and regulations, including familiarity with FEMA floodplain management. The candidate should have a working knowledge of design guidelines and architecture, streetscape standards, currently accepted planning standards, ability to read and interpret building plans, specifications, blueprints, codes, and policies. Position requires experience in solving practical problems and being solutions-oriented when dealing with applications, enforcement actions, and receiving complaints from public members.
