Job Summary

The Retail Store Supervisor’s role is to provide excellent customer service while professionally directing daily operations of assigned store including training staff members and overseeing store operation and processes strictly defined for the Retail Department. Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment. Maintains all store related paperwork including accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports. Oversees store inventory levels and reports merchandise needs to Retail Assistant Operations Manager and Inventory Control Specialist. Creates dynamic visual displays that highlight the store merchandise as well as the resort atmosphere and brand.

Required

2 years for supervisor experience in a retail or hospitality setting

Computer experience including Microsoft Office and POS systems

Excellent guest service skills

Excellent cash handling skills

ServeSafe or similar food management certification within 30 days of hire

Must be at least 21

Core Responsibilities

•   Reference tasks outlined in the Retail Training Manual, Opening & Closing Checklist, Daily Time schedule and Weekly Project list
•   Direct all daily operations of their primary retail location and other operations as necessary including product orders, merchandising, stock rotation, and        inventory management (offsite storage and stockrooms) in an effort to meet and exceed revenue and service goals
•   Train and mentor Retail Shift Supervisors and Associates
•   Direct and motivate staff by focusing on training new staff members and on reinforcing skills with existing staff
•   Responsible for making sure the schedule is fulfilled, covering shift if necessary
•   Ability to analyze data, reports, and trends and offer feedback based on analysis
•   Be able to perform all tasks required of Retail Cashier, Shift Supervisor and Inventory Control Specialist
•   Other duties as assigned by management
