Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Retail Floor Supervisor to join our hardware store team. As a Retail Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing our retail personnel, overseeing the daily operations of the sales floor, and ensuring excellent service is provided to our customers. The Retail Floor Supervisor will also be responsible for managing inventory and ensuring we have a clean, organized store. Weekend work is required.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in customer service, retail management including the supervision of employees, and be knowledgeable about tools, hardware, and DIY projects. A background check and drug screen will be required before an offer of employment is finalized.
Work Environment: Work is performed in an industrial retail space with time occasionally spent in a warehouse. The employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles. The volume is usually quiet to moderate.
