Retail Zone Manager jobs in High Point, NC

Retail Zone Manager manages multiple regional managers within a geographic region. Adjusts sales goals and procedures as appropriate for each manager and store based on goals set for the whole zone. Being a Retail Zone Manager designs and recommends regional sales and marketing promotions and sets short- and long-term retail sales strategies for the zone. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Retail Zone Manager typically reports to top management. The Retail Zone Manager manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Retail Zone Manager typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Responsibilities of a General Manager:
    • Supervises staff and sets the tone in each of our high-energy studio locations.
    • Responsible for the successful operation and financial accountability of the studio.
    • Introduces potential prospects to our methods and presents them with a program suitable and tailored for them. 
    • Orchestrates the delivery of superior customer service, achievement of employees, and performance relative to location goals and objectives. 
    • Executes implementation strategies and ongoing management of company standards for key operational activities, programs, and goals throughout the studio. 
    • Regularly communicates with the regional manager and corporate managers. 
    • Provides leadership, direction, and support to all direct reports. 
    • Directly responsible for managing all employees of the store.
    • Flexible hours and potentially working Saturday and/or Sunday 
    Qualifications 
    • Must be proficient in Stretch Zone techniques, process and procedures
    • Strong communication and customer service skills required
    • Preferred background: Certified Athletic Trainers. Exercise, Health or Recreational Science Degree, Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer or Sports Coach, Physical Therapist, PT Aide, Chiropractor, Pilates, Yoga Instructor, or Dance Instructor
    • A strong and demonstrated affinity for and/or experience in the Health, Wellness & Fitness industry are preferred
    • Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
    • Professional, punctual, reliable and neat
    • Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
    • Proficient computer skills required
