JOB SUMMARY
The Returns Specialist processes product returns and information while supporting the warehouse staff and other departments within a high-volume, fast-paced working environment. This team member will inspect product ensuring accurate return information, repackage merchandise for resale, and perform general warehouse duties including warehouse cleanup. As a company we strive to create a positive, uplifting work environment. This is a seasonal type position--lasting 60-90 days.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Unpack returned merchandise, inspect package condition and assess paperwork set in with return instructions for proper return procedures.
*Inspect returned merchandise, checking for quality and condition of product to determine return category.
*Receive merchandise, following all security and safety return procedures for each product.
*Report any issues to team lead/supervisor.
*Data entry as needed.
*Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times.
*Other tasks as required to meet team goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*6-12 month of prior returns or similar experience
*Basic computer skills (i.e. personal computers, printers, email).
*Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures and protocols.
*Prior experience in a distribution., warehouse, or other inventory handling environment.
*Ability to actively support team concepts and effectively communicate with team members.
*Ability to accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
*Ability to maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
*Ability to focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
*Attention to detail.
*Be able to sit or stand or extended periods of time.
