Returns Supervisor supervises the receipt of goods for return and coordinates return of goods to vendors. Handles defective, discontinued or recalled goods and destroys returned goods as appropriate. Being a Returns Supervisor ensures the returns process follows appropriate procedures and maintains documents as necessary. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Returns Supervisor typically reports to a manager. Will supervise Housekeeping staff and ensure all quality standards and company policies are followed. Duties include cleaning guest rooms and public areas to Marriott standards. Inspecting guest rooms for cleanliness and maintenance issues. Monthly inventory of chemicals and linen and communicate results to General Manager. Training new hires and ensure existing staff has required training. Washing, drying and folding laundry. Any other duties deemed necessary by management.
