SUMMARY

Processes  business financial information used in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Oversee and verify all internal and external accounting information to minimize service problems.
• Processes all incoming revenues; examines and processes any revenue adjustments; resolves any conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
• Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions; correctly enters information into the appropriate software; may use and be supported by worksheets in Excel or Access.
• Rates and processes driver and helper time and pay information; prepares vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements as required at the individual location; contributes information as required for reporting purposes.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in the use of standard software packages, including Microsoft Suite. Some background in Solomon accounting software is helpful.
