Develops strategies to optimize operations and to ensure sufficient cash flow. Being a Revenue Accounting Director establishes targets, policies, and internal controls that will drive improvements and efficiencies in overall service revenue capture and collection. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and responsiveness to changes in requirements. Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of team members processing professional and facility bills. The billing Supervisor will ensure that OOMC bills are processed accurately, promptly and in compliance with OOMC, CMS and other state and national policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities the Billing Supervisor is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all billing activities. Other duties may be assigned as determined by OOMC management.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises 10-20 employees in the Billing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
