Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is responsible for providing direction and support to the Director/Managers/Supervisors of Business Services, Patient Access, Financial Counseling, Pre-Certification, Billing, Follow-Up, Credit/Collections, Charity Care Write Offs, and Medicare Eligibility to achieve financial and performance goals in registration, customer service, billing and collections for Mountain Health Network (MHN). The Director of RCM is directly responsible for ensuring the service catalog (CDM) is current and is compliant with regulatory requirements, that all services are charged and billed appropriately, and that all revenue cycle processes result in all available reimbursement received. The Director of RCM is responsible for ensuring compliance with all Governmental and Payer contracting requirements, reviewing and advising the CFO of specific contract terms, negotiations with new payers and analyzing the reimbursement effect of proposed contracts. The Director of RCM is directly responsible for ensuring that the revenue cycle system applications are designed and configured appropriately and that all users are trained and proficient in the use of the system(s).
