Revenue Accounting Director is responsible for the development and direction of revenue cycle management operations for the organization that optimize the patient financial interaction along the care continuum. Develops strategies to optimize operations and to ensure sufficient cash flow. Being a Revenue Accounting Director establishes targets, policies, and internal controls that will drive improvements and efficiencies in overall service revenue capture and collection. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and responsiveness to changes in requirements. Additionally, Revenue Accounting Director coordinates with stakeholders across the organization to drive optimal financial performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Typically reports to the cfo or top management. The Revenue Accounting Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Capitol Billing Group is growing rapidly and in need of a hands on highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to supervise our A/R and Collections Department. This position places a strong emphasis on A/R follow up and collections.
Essential Duties:

- Provides leadership and oversight for Radiology accounts receivable.
- Responsible for timely billing and resolution of receivable.
- Evaluation of reimbursement in accordance with the contracts and government regulations.
- Enforces revenue cycle operational policies and procedures.
- Provides team leadership and drives team performance.
- Identifies, establishes, and implements internal controls to ensure a compliant environment.
- Coordinates the development of programs and processes for Revenue Cycle operational areas.
- Identify strategies that lead to improved financial performance.
- Directs team and participates in establishing an environment that leads to efficient Revenue Cycle operations.
- Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelors degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or In addition, the candidates for this position will demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, have a self-starting attitude and outstanding work ethic with proper references, be able to manage time effectively and plan accordingly and have a natural drive to succeed.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Possess ability to apply broad knowledge to new circumstances to add value and perspective.
Education:
Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience & License:
· Three years related experience.
· Experience in managing medical accounts receivable, claim billings, follow-up, and denial management processes.
