Revenue Accounting Director is responsible for the development and direction of revenue cycle management operations for the organization that optimize the patient financial interaction along the care continuum. Develops strategies to optimize operations and to ensure sufficient cash flow. Being a Revenue Accounting Director establishes targets, policies, and internal controls that will drive improvements and efficiencies in overall service revenue capture and collection. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and responsiveness to changes in requirements. Additionally, Revenue Accounting Director coordinates with stakeholders across the organization to drive optimal financial performance. Requires a bachelor's degree.     Role Description

    The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing various accounting functions with regards to revenue recognition specific to the Company’s small cell segment, managing the monthly close procedures, supervising Staff and Senior Accountants and ensuring controls over the general ledger are in accordance with US GAAP.


    Responsibilities

    • Manage and review monthly close process in compliance with existing controls and policies including ensuring the timely and accurate completion of account reconciliations.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with business partners throughout the Company to ensure that policies and procedures are being interpreted and administered according to the Company’s accounting policies.
    • Oversee the financial statement review and analysis, monthly close schedules and reporting packages.
    • Evaluate, monitor and maintain the Company’s finance and accounting control policies and procedures in compliance with the Company’s policies, US GAAP and SOX controls.
    • Innovate by managing strategic process improvements to tools and systems through collaboration with key stakeholders.
    • Coordinate and prepare for both internal and external financial audits including managing timetables and deadlines.
    • Manage ambiguity by addressing anomalies and inconsistencies and assisting with resolution.
    • Build an effective team by promoting an environment of accountability and employee development.

    Expectations

    • Accounting expertise in basic financial statement fundamentals, ledgers, and journal entries
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize and work effectively in deadline-driven environment
    • Effective communication and leadership skills
    • Strong financial acumen
    • Ability to diagnose and solve work flow problems
    • Expertise in reporting and data retrieval and organization
    • Expertise in MS Excel

    Education/Certifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
    • Certified Public Accountant and/or MBA preferred

    Experience/Minimum Requirements

    • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of combined experience preferably in public accounting and general accounting experience
    • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) with a focus on revenue recognition
    • Thorough knowledge of computer accounting software, emphasis on JD Edwards and Microsoft applications
    • Strong demonstration of leadership ability or prior supervisor experience

    Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
