SUMMARY OF POSITION :

Provide specialty specific support to department providers, operations team and leadership related to coding, charge capture, documentation and regulatory requirements necessary for maintaining optimal business practices and results.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Five (5) years of related experience including coding/billing compliance experience.

Coding, Compliance or Billing certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Experience in specialty specific coding, preferably in an academic medical center setting preferred.

Experience in training situations ranging from 1:1 instruction to large groups of providers preferred.

Behavioral Health coding/billing background.
