Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and optimize the financial processes related to revenue generation within the organization. The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for managing the financial revenue cycle of our healthcare organization, from patient registration and billing to collections and reporting. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of healthcare billing systems, and the ability to work collaboratively within the team.

Duties:

- Oversee the billing process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage claims submission, follow-up, and resolution of denials or discrepancies
- Ensure proper medical coding practices are followed to optimize reimbursement and maintain compliance with coding guidelines
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and develop strategies to reduce outstanding balances
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in healthcare billing practices
- Provide excellent customer service to patients regarding their billing inquiries
- Generate reports and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle metrics, such as days in accounts receivable, clean claim rate, and denial rate
- Oversee patient registration and financial counseling processes to ensure accurate demographic and insurance information is captured

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with a demonstrated track record of success in optimizing revenue and improving financial performance
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems (CPT, ICD-10), and insurance guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial)
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical billing software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with patients, providers, and payers
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) certification preferred
