Revenue Accounting Manager jobs in San Diego, CA

• Lead and manage the revenue accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
• Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 standards.
• Oversee commission accounting processes and ensure they are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline revenue accounting procedures, including Sales, Legal, FP&A and Rev Ops teams.
• Provide leadership and guidance on complex revenue transactions and contract reviews.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls over the revenue accounting process.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports related to revenue.
• Stay abreast of industry changes in revenue accounting standards and implement necessary updates to company practices.

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in revenue accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
• Experience leading a revenue accounting function in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 and its application in revenue accounting.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Proficient in using accounting software and systems.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
