Additionally, Revenue Accounting Manager possesses experience and knowledge of accounting practices that are specific to the oil and gas industry. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Revenue Accounting Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Revenue Accounting Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Our client in the Lower Fairfield, CT area has an opening for an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will be hands-on with general accounting functions: month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, perform and prepare audit/procedures, oversee Accounts Payable, and ad hoc projects. Great Plains and TM1 a plus but not required. Medium to advanced Excel required. This is a 3–4-month consulting engagement with a well-known global company!
