Director of Revenue Cycle Management, Springville NY

Full Time. Days. 

Compensation is based on experience: 70k-100k annually

The Director of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for accurate, appropriate and timely recognition of revenue across all service lines including Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home and Bertrand Chaffee Health Center.   

In this role your responsibility will include patient, resident and client billing, patient access, financial clearance, pre-registration and authorization, collections, revenue integrity, charge capture and charge reconciliation, and CDM maintenance.  

Responsibilities include planning and organizing key initiatives including revenue management, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

You will direct and oversee staff and maintain knowledge of current events and innovations to enhance the revenue cycle.

You will ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction to our customers, both internal and external, and forecasting and operating within the financial budget established for all departments.

This position will also work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff and health information staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in coding, clinical documentation, and denials and appeals.

     Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Business related field preferred. Would consider significant relevant experience in lieu of experience. 
• Experience in Revenue Cycle Management:  Three (3)- Five (5) years required.  Five (5) - Ten (10) years preferred. 
• Strong Reimbursement knowledge preferred
• Strong Billing knowledge preferred
• Experience in Customer Service preferred.

Richmond Nursing Home and BCH Primary Care is an independent non-profit Community health care hub for the South towns of WNY with our campus in Springville, and new primary care practice in Arcade.  We provide Acute, Primary and Long Term Care including Emergency, Medical Surgical, Orthopedic Surgical and Ambulatory Surgical services; Cardiac Care, full service Imaging, Laboratory, and Physical Therapy services. Our Nursing Home caters to both Long Term Care and Rehabilitation needs, and our Primary Care services are in high demand in the community.
