Klickitat Valley Health has an opportunity in our Patient Financial Services Department for a Revenue Cycle Analyst. The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for supporting and enhancing revenue capture by clinical departments throughout the hospital and clinic. This position maximizes charges efficiency through; (1) Monitoring revenue cycle processes and staff functions; (2) Supporting the organization’s revenue capture and integrity through evaluating the accuracy of charge capture and billing functions and staying apprised of payer and/or regulatory updates; (3) Assisting in the design and implementation of charge capture/billing workflow improvements. This position is remote, however the successful applicant must reside in Washington state.
The RCA Oversees payor contracting, underpayment analysis, reimbursement audits, charge master maintenance and compliance, charge capture, pricing strategies. Ensures that all appropriate billing charges are being captured, documented, charged and reimbursed for the assigned department. Plans and performs advanced price modeling activities for major service lines. May perform special project assignments with respect to applicable regulations and the overall revenue cycle. Credentials providers with the major insurance carriers. Manages credits on patient accounts and create estimates upon request of patients.
