Risk Management Director - Healthcare develops and administers risk management programs. Creates and modifies policies to comply with safety legislation, JCAHO, HIPAA, and industry practices. Being a Risk Management Director - Healthcare coordinates and develops hospital-wide programs for quality patient care and risk-free services. Acts as the liaison to attorneys, insurance companies, and individuals. Additionally, Risk Management Director - Healthcare investigates any incidences that may result in an asset loss. Oversees insurance designed to protect the health system from loss. Collects information related to the claims and lawsuits made against the health system. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Risk Management Director - Healthcare typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Job Description

     

    • Join the IPC Leadership team and drive forwards our award winning risk service in terms and growth and excellence
    • Risk management strategy position with responsibility for overseeing enterprise business unit/geography risk management policies and procedures. 
    • Ensures the business unit or geography’s risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with internal and external requirements. 
    • Oversees the management of risk of the business unit or geography including operational, market and financial risk. 
    • Monitors and analyzes risks within the company’s business units. 
    • Reports’ findings to senior management.

    Experience Required

    • Experience in the construction or infrastructure sectors.
    • A strong and extensive experience in the application of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) for cost, schedule and carbon.  
    • Experience using Enterprise Risk Management tools, for example, Active Risk Manager (ARM), Predict! and Oracle PPM (P6R). 
    • Strong in Business Development and Sales for Risk Management.•    Ensure that resources are made available to maintain efficient and timely capture and treatment of risks and opportunities. 
    • Delivery of risk management services to the client’s Development department as part of capital project delivery in compliance with client’s governance, processes and objectives. 
    • Development and implementation of project risk management plans.
    • Delivery of discrete risk interventions and imbedded risk management services, as part of the Development team.
    • Delivery of value and reduction of risk exposure through active mitigation of threats and maximisation of opportunities. 
    • Facilitation of workshops in the client’s environment, using advanced methods for risk, value and lessons learnt processes.
