We currently have an opening for a Full time, Director of Risk Management, to join our team of caring professionals.

Purpose of position: Plan, organize, direct and control all aspects of risk management activities. Ensure a safe environment for the protection of patients, clients, employees and visitors to the facility in such a manner as to comply with laws, regulations and the standards of the accrediting and approval agencies. Investigate and analyze actual and potential risks in the facility; assess liability and probability of legal action for potential notification. Implement, educate and encourage incident reporting system throughout the facility. Develop and implement infrastructures and systems that support patient safety.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a clinical healthcare, risk management, business, finance, or a related field required. Master's degree in health information management, nursing, or related field preferred.

Experience: Five (5) or more years’ experience in a risk management position. One (1) or more years’ supervisory experience required.

Licensures/Certification: Certified Risk Manager (CRM) preferred. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification (will provide training for CPI), required.

Experience

• 1 year(s): Supervisory experience.

• 5 year(s): Experience in a risk management position.

Education

• Bachelors or better in Nursing/Healthcare or related field
