Risk Manager manages and administers an organization's risk-management programs. Implements policies, procedures, and controls to monitor and minimize the risk exposure of assets. Being a Risk Manager researches internal and external risk factors including economic, market, and regulatory risks that may affect the organization. Routinely evaluates the effectiveness of procedures and collaborates with internal stakeholders to monitor changes in the business environment. In this role, the Risk Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing districtwide initiatives to mitigate potential adverse effects on college operations, finances, and community relationships. There are no direct reports, and this position manages risk and does not manage people. Working within the Public Safety team, the Risk Manager reports directly to the Director of Public Safety and are responsible for non-benefit risk management and loss prevention programs across the college.
Duties & Responsibilities:
$70,476 - $88,094
This is a full-time, non-exempt, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year position. General working hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 4:00pm. May be called in for emergencies.
