Risk Manager manages and administers an organization's risk-management programs. Implements policies, procedures, and controls to monitor and minimize the risk exposure of assets. Being a Risk Manager researches internal and external risk factors including economic, market, and regulatory risks that may affect the organization. Routinely evaluates the effectiveness of procedures and collaborates with internal stakeholders to monitor changes in the business environment. Additionally, Risk Manager manages statistical analysis and designing of financial models to predict the risk exposure of an organization's assets. Reviews risk analysis reports to ensure risks are identified and managed effectively. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Risk Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Risk Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Acts as a mentor for HNI Account Associates as they work together on client objectives Responsible for the maintenance of client information ensuring that service standards are met and compliance is ensured Leverages the knowledge of clients' coverage and programs with their own expertise in client services and insurance administration for the benefit of the client and other team members. Serves as a subject matter expert on HNI products, capabilities and services offered Supports the client benefit communication needs including wellness programs and benefit enrollment meetings. Supports the Service teams' overall operations and customer service delivery Supports the development of client renewal strategies and ensures successful execution by the service team. Manages playbook Education, Skill, and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field of study or equivalent experience required Minimum 3 years' experience within an insurance related industry with an emphasis on Self-Funded, Level Funded and Large Group Clients.
