Risk Manager manages and administers an organization's risk-management programs. Implements policies, procedures, and controls to monitor and minimize the risk exposure of assets. Being a Risk Manager researches internal and external risk factors including economic, market, and regulatory risks that may affect the organization. Routinely evaluates the effectiveness of procedures and collaborates with internal stakeholders to monitor changes in the business environment. Additionally, Risk Manager manages statistical analysis and designing of financial models to predict the risk exposure of an organization's assets. Reviews risk analysis reports to ensure risks are identified and managed effectively. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Risk Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Risk Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     As an experienced Project Manager, you will work to support the handling of our company’s ongoing projects and be a part of the newly formed Program Management Office.     • Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
    • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
    • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
    • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
    • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
    • Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
    • Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the user.
    • Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

    Demonstrated Experience for success in this role…

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in a related discipline  
    • Professional Management Professional (PMP) certification highly preferred
    • Demonstrated experience working in project management and leading project teams of varying sizes
