Job Summary

Primary purpose of this role is to support the Insurance function in the administration of Lowe’s property & casualty programs, including supporting identifying and measuring risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the administration of Lowe’s property & casualty insurance programs
• Gather underwriting data in support of insurance renewals including working with internal and external business partners
• Performs accounting and other related tasks supporting post-renewal compliance needs
• Tracking the receipt and information on all Lowe’s insurance policies into a master data base
• Serve as the back up resource in coordinating the Certificates of Insurance needs of Lowe’s store employees, Lowe’s customers for deliveries, and installation services
• Prepare ad-hoc reporting, Power Point presentations and other duties as assigned
• Work on projects as assigned

Required Education

• Bachelors Degree in Risk Management & Insurance, or other Business degree/Finance related area

Preferred Education

• Insurance related Designation

Required Experience

• Recent graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Risk Management & Insurance, or other Business degree/Finance related area

• Demonstrate a competent understanding of Risk Management & Insurance
• Great attention to detail, and has the ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Experience 

• 1-2 years of experience within a relevant corporate business function or within the commercial insurance industry
