Risk Modeling Manager oversees the strategic business analysis modeling activities involved in an organization's credit risk management function. Develops and evaluates systems associated with controlling credit risk. Being a Risk Modeling Manager determines strategies and policies that maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize credit and operating losses and other risk exposure. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Risk Modeling Manager typically reports to top management. The Risk Modeling Manager manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Risk Modeling Manager typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Risk Manager - Risk Management

    • Direct and oversee the risk management program in collaboration with the corporate risk manager designee.
    • Investigate and analyze actual and potential risks in the facility; assess liability and probability of legal action for potential notification. Implement, educate and encourage incident reporting systems throughout the facility.
    • Monitor and analyze program performance data to determine program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with all administrative requirements.
    • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of programs or operations in meeting established goals and objectives in compliance with facility policy.
    • Responsible for identifying high-risk areas that could cause harm to persons receiving services, visitors, and employees. Collaborate with clinical staff and management for the prevention of clinical risks throughout the facility.
    • Develop and lead educational activities to enhance the clinical understanding and utilization of the Full Disclosure process.
    • Maintain database of full disclosure activities and provide oversight for review programs and provide technical support as needed.
    • Provide staff management to include hiring, development, training, performance management, and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
    • Create and implement policies and procedures that improve both patient care and employee safety. Ensure the application of institutional policies, especially those regarding patient rights, confidentiality, and full disclosure.

    Qualifications:

    Must have a Bachelors's Degree in a clinical healthcare field, risk management, business or related field.

    Masters Degree in Health information mgt, nursing or related field preferred.

    One or more years experience in a supervisory capacity

    Certification relate to health care risk management, safety or process improvement preferred
